We look after tiled roofs in Echuca, Moama and across the region, from new builds through to repairs.

Whether you're building a new home, replacing an old roof, planning a roof restoration or chasing down a leak, here's how we can help.

New roof installations

We tile new roofs on homes, residential developments and projects for builders across Echuca, Moama, Shepparton, Bendigo and the surrounding region. Michael has been doing this work for more than 20 years, and he knows how quickly a late roof can hold up the rest of a build.

We work in with your schedule, talk to you or your builder about tile choice and timing, and keep everyone updated so the job keeps moving.

Roof replacements

Sometimes an old roof is past the point where repairs make sense. Tiles become brittle, cracks spread and patch jobs stop working. When that happens, we strip the old roof and lay a new tiled roof in its place, whether your home is in town or out on a farm.

We also do reroofing for extensions and renovations. Our aim is for the new section to sit neatly with the rest of the house, so it never looks like an afterthought.

Roof restorations

If your tiles are still in reasonable shape, a roof restoration can bring an ageing roof back to good condition for a lot less than replacing it. We start with a thorough clean to clear away moss, lichen and built up dirt.

From there we replace any broken tiles, rebed and repoint the ridge capping so it sits firmly again, and finish with a fresh coat of roof paint. It makes a big difference to how the whole house looks.

Repairs and maintenance

A small problem on the roof can turn into a big one inside the house. If you've noticed a water stain on the ceiling, cracked tiles or ridge capping that looks loose, it's worth getting it checked sooner rather than later.

We'll get up there, find the actual cause of the roof leak and fix it properly. Regular maintenance checks are also a good way to pick up small issues before the next big storm finds them.

Are you a builder or developer with a project coming up?

We work with builders, developers and construction companies who need a roofing contractor they can rely on. Michael has tiled roofs on new homes, residential developments and large builds, so he knows how much it matters to turn up when we say we will and keep the site moving.

If you've got plans on the table, send them through and we'll talk about timing, tiles and what you need from us.

From new skylights and ridge capping repairs to roofs that badly needed a restoration, these are a few of the jobs we've worked on around the region.

532m2

We recently finished a new roof installation in Swan Hill.

Location
Swan Hill, Victoria
Tiles
Black Monier Elabana

This one was a big job. We installed 532 square metres of black Monier Elabana tiles on a substantial residential build in Swan Hill. With so many hips and valleys across the roof, it took careful planning and a lot of precise cutting to get every line looking right, and it's a good example of the larger work we love taking on.

These are the questions we get asked most often.

If your question isn't here, give Brooke a call on 0491 114 070 and she'll be happy to help.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Echuca/Moama and regularly work in Rochester, Kyabram, Shepparton, Bendigo, Swan Hill and the towns in between, on both sides of the river. For larger projects and builder contracts we're happy to travel further, so give us a call and we'll talk it through.

How do I get a quote?

Call Brooke on 0491 114 070 or send us a message through the contact page. Let us know your address and what's going on with the roof, and we'll organise a time for Michael to come out and take a look.

Does my roof need restoring or replacing?

It depends on the condition of the tiles and what's underneath them. If most of the tiles are sound, a restoration is usually the more affordable option. If a lot of them are cracked or the roof has had years of patch repairs, replacing it can make more sense in the long run. We'll give you an honest opinion either way.

What's involved in a roof restoration?

Most restorations start with a thorough clean to get rid of moss, dirt and lichen. From there we replace any broken tiles, rebed and repoint the ridge capping, and finish with a protective coat of paint. Every roof is a little different, so we'll explain exactly what yours needs when we quote.

Can you find where my roof is leaking?

Yes. Water doesn't always come through directly under the problem, so we'll get up on the roof and track down the actual cause, whether that's a cracked tile, loose ridge capping or something else, and fix it properly instead of patching over it.

Do you work with builders and developers?

We do. We tile new roofs for builders, developers and construction companies on everything from single homes to larger residential projects. If you've got a build coming up, get in touch and we can talk about your plans and timeframes.

How long does a job usually take?

That comes down to the size of the roof, the type of work and the weather. A repair can often be done in a day, while a full restoration or a new roof takes longer. We'll give you a realistic timeframe along with your quote.

Do you have a roofing job in mind?

Give us a call or send through a few details, and we'll organise a time to come and take a look.
